I am happy endlessly because of the 2013 Dhammachai Dhutanga
Compiled from the Inner Dream Kindergarten Program broadcasted on DMC

The success of the 2013 Dhammachai Dhutanga from the cooperation of governmental and private sectors becomes a noteworthy story.  An important person who knew this delightful story was H.E. Mr. Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan, Minister of Prime Minister’s Office.  He is a real Buddhist who was ordained for 3 years in Lamphun province.  Now he regulates the Office of National Buddhism.

H.E. Mr. Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan, Minister of Prime Minister’s Office

Mr. Niwatthamrong said, “I appreciate that this event was arranged very well.  This was the second year and it achieved the goal that was to spread Buddhism by the Lord Buddha’s teaching.  It is a very good thing. I have to support the monastic’s and Sangha Supreme Council’s works.  The Dhammachai Dhutanga is a good project so I support fully.  I am willing to support the public relation of this project.  I believe that everyone who sees thousands of monks performing the Dhutanga along many places will be more faithful in Buddhism and they will behave better and well.  They will be good people and keep Buddhism further.  This is a way to sustain Buddhism and there will be more good people who are able to move our country forward.

There are many Buddhist countries in ASEAN.  As my observation, Buddhism in Thailand is stronger than any other country in this region.  The Dhammachai Dhutanga is a good example project among these countries, so I would like to invite and persuade all Buddhists and Buddhist Organizations to maintain Buddhism together such as Dhamma, the Lord Buddha’s teachings, Disciplines, Rules and Regulations, conduct, precept observation, etc.  If four Buddhist communities do it together, Buddhism in this region will be strong and make Buddhism around the world strong.”
