Happy new year everyone, May all goodness be with you!

Please show your opinion of what the right answer should be for this question:

Q. Can a husband and wife choose a good child to be born to them? How?

A. They can not, because the birth of a child is dependent on this or her past good and bad deeds.
B. They can not, because the child chooses which family he or her wishes to be born to.
C. They can because the birth of a child is dependent on the past good and bad deeds of both parents. If they performed good deeds, they will obtain a good child.
D. They can to a certain extent, because the birth of a child is dependent on the past good and bad deeds of the parents and child. The good deeds of the parents are a kind of requisite for gaining a good child.
E. They can because modern science makes it possible to choose a good child to be born.

PLease help to get the right answer... My team got 97 scores last year but we didn't get high scores enough to win. So I think some questions are not hard but just not sure about the answer...

If someone know, please post here and anumothan sathu and rejoice the merit together....:>

Q.2 In the past in Thailand, grandparents would give a blessing to their children and grandchildren in the house before going to bed. It was a way to emphasize consistently that the children feel connected with the idea that good begets good and evil begets evil. It was a method of instilling moral principles of goodness in the household. Which of the following occurs if a family does not receive the blessing of its elders?

A. The family lacks the voices of the grandparents
B. The family lacks unity
C. The family does not have someone who regularly instills moral principles.
D. The family does not have a house, a dwelling, and bedrock.
E. The family lacks love from its elders.

Q.3 What is the true meaning of the sentence: "If a child ordains as a monk, the parents will be able to hold onto the son's monastic robes and enter heaven."

A. The son who ordained has the power to take his parents to heaven
B. If the son ordains, the parents will go to heaven even if they have committed many sins.
C. The merit which the son performs at the time his ordination will result in the parents going to heaven.
D. When the son ordains the parents will feel contented, as though they were in heaven.
E. The son's ordination will surely make the parents go to heaven

Q.4 The holiness of a blessing depends on which one of the following?

A. It depends on the holiness of the entity giving the blessing
B. It is necessary to give a blessing in front of a Buddha image to make the blessing holy.
C. It depends on the genuineness and truthfulness of the person giving the blessing.
D. The person receiving the blessing must have moral principles habitually in hi/her mind.
E. The person giving and the person receiving the blessing must have their minds in the same state.

For my team choose to answer : Q.1= D / Q.2 = B / Q.3 = C / Q.4 = C
