มี website ที่ขายของแล้วมีภาพพระพุทธเจ้าในที่ๆ ไม่เหมาะสมอย่างมาก คือhttp://www.cafepress...phy_shop/887007 เป็นหน้าที่ของชาวพุทธที่ต้องช่วยกันบอกเขาแล้วล่ะ ว่า มันไม่ถูกต้อง

เป็นการกระทำที่ไม่เหมาะสมอย่างยิ่ง และมีรูปเสื้อบางรูปที่สกรีนรูปของพระพุทธรูปแล้วนำไปใส่ให้สุนัขด้วย เท่าที่เช็คดูจากเว็บ ไม่มี e-mail ติดต่อ มีแต่เบอร์โทรศัพท์ ตามที่เอามาลงให้นี้ Phone 1-877-809-1659 คงจะเป็นในอเมริกา ใครพอมีข้อมูลช่วยประชาสัมพันธ์ให้ชาวพุทธทั่วโลกช่วยกันประนามด้วย จะได้ป้องกันไม่ให้พวกนี้มาลบหลู่ศาสนาพุทธอันเป็นที่เคารพอย่างสูงสูดของพวกเราอีกต่อไป....เรื่องพระศาสนาต้องเอาอุเบกขาวาง....

ตอนแรกดูก็สร้างความรู้สึกขุ่นใจอยู่เหมือนกันยิ่งเอาไปติดไว้ที่ชุดชั้นในยิ่งขุ่นหนักเข้าไปอีก แต่เมื่อนึกถึงโอวาสสุดท้ายที่พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าท่านกล่าวไว้ก่อนเสด็จดับขันธ์ปรินิพพานว่า
"เมื่อพระองค์ดับขันธ์แล้ว จะไม่มีใครเป็นศาสดาแทนพระองค์ แต่ธรรมของพระองค์ที่ทรงตรัสไว้ จะเป็นศาสดาแทนพระองค์"
เมื่อคิดดูตามที่พระองค์ตรัสไว้แล้วใจหายขุ่นไปเยอะเลยครับ เพราะสิ่งที่เขาเอามาทำไม่ดีไม่งาม มันก็แค่รูปภาพของรูปปั้นที่เกิดจากดินหรือหินหรือโลหะเท่านั้น ไม่ใช่รูปปั้นของพระองค์เลยสักนิด(ไม่เห็นมีลักษณะมหาบุรุษของพระองค์เลยน่ะครับ) เป็นเพียงแค่รูปปั้นที่ปั้นขึ้นมาแล้วคนทั้งหลายสมมุติว่าเป็นพระองค์เท่านั้น เมื่อคิดอย่างนี้แล้วจะช่วยบรรเทาความขุ่นข้องหมองใจไปได้เยอะเลยทีเดียว
ดังนั้นทุกท่านอย่าได้ขุ่นเคืองไปเลยนะครับ เดี๋ยวใสจะหมองเสียปล่าวครับ มีสติก่อนสตาร์ทแล้วจะเห็นทางหนทางแก้ที่ดีได้ครับ

ผมก็ส่ง mail ชี้แจงเกี่ยวกับความไม่เหมาะสมในการกระทำดังกล่าว ถึง Karene Howie และ Geoff Haselhurst ว่าในสายตาของชาวพุทธเรารู้สึกอย่างไร และแนะนำให้เขาใช้รูปอื่นๆที่จะสื่อสารถึง philosophy of love แทนด้วยครับ ถ้ามีfeedback จะนำมา post อีกครั้ง

They are nothing but a stream of energies, just like the light of a candle or an electric bulb. So we would think that Buddhists would write to us to thank us and congratulate us for showing the truth of Buddha. Thus we find it strange that you are instead offended by something that is contrary to Buddhism - taking his image as an idol.

If you are offended by our Buddha images at the philosophy shop then the solution is simple - do not use the philosophy shop.
Given that there are millions of Buddha statues and images all over the world, used in all sorts of ways, we find your concerns odd.

We mean this kindly. But we are obliged to abide by truth and reality (as Buddha did) - not people's customs / religious myths.
