Dhammakaya Nagano Temple arranged the Sunday Meditation,
Medicine Offering Ceremony

and Fish Releasing Ceremony
On Sunday August 22nd, 2010

 

 

In the morning there was the ceremony of offering the morning alms to the monks.  After that the congregations requested the 5 precepts and said the meal offering speech.

 

At 11.30 a.m. was Dhammakaya Time, all congregations watched Dao Dhamma and meditated together as well as the other Dhammajayo Bhikkhu’s disciples all over the world.  Then, they said the offering speech and made a wish.  They lined up to offer the medicine and alms to the teaching monks in harmony.

 

 

 

After that they went to release fish at Chikuma River.  Everybody had prepared tools using in this ceremony which were a big canvas and water.  They released many Unagi eels to the river happily and shared this merit to the Most Ven. Phrarajbhavanavisudh since Dhammachai Day.
