The Ceremony of Chanting Buddha Mantra to Celebrate and Welcome 1,129 Dhutanga Monks

Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani province arranged the ceremony of chanting Buddha Mantra to celebrate and welcome 1,129 Dhutanga monks at the Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong’s Refectory.

Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani province arranged the ceremony of chanting Buddha Mantra to celebrate and welcome 1,129 Dhutanga monks at the Master Nun Chand Khonnokyoong’s Refectory on January 28th, 2014.  These monks had walked along the Way of the Most Ven. Phramongkolthepmuni (Sod Candasaro), the Mara Conqueror and it is the third year and they did it during January 2nd – 28th, 2014.

In the ceremony Phrakru Mongkolkijjarak, Ecclesiastical District Governor of Khlong Luang district and abbot of Wat Mongkolpukkaram, was the Monastic President; he and other monks chanted Buddha Mantra.  After that the representative of laity said the speech of offering Pana Drink, four requisites, flowers, and mats.  Then they made a wish and offered alms to the Monastic President and monks.  This impressed all laity who joined this holy ceremony.
