The 3rd Dhammadayada Training for Ladies
At Dhammakaya Boras Temple in Sweden

The teaching monks of Dhammakaya Boras Temple, including Phrachoochart Indapanyo, Phraklanarong Yanavero and Phramaha Boonma Khutapunyo, held the 3rd Dhammadayada Training for Ladies during June 26th – July 2nd, 2011.  This training was the way to create the Lord Buddha’s Dhamma successors in Europe.

This training was held to teach the trainees to learn the Lord Buddha’s Dhamma and know how to apply in their daily lives.  They could improve their potentials by following the principle “Don’t do the bad deeds.  Do only good deeds.  Keep your mind happy and clear.”  They also offered alms, kept the 8 precepts and meditated through the activities in each training day.

In the morning, they had to get up at 5:00 a.m. to do the morning chanting and worship the Triple Gems together.  Then, they meditated and spreaded the loving-kindness.  The temple had set the meditation session in all activities and brought them to meditate in many places, for example, on the hill or on the lake bank.  Moreover, they listened to Dhamma from the teaching monks such as the basic meditation, the Ten Right Views, Giving, Keeping Precepts, Meditation, Discipline – Respect – Patient, Law of Kamma, the parents’ kindness, the indefinite monastic offering, the morning alms round, etc.

After the breakfast and lunch, the supervisors, including Sis Nate, Sis Ai, Sis Peach and Sis Jus, taught the Buddhist Customs for them.  The supervisors taught how to bow, pay respect, change the manners beautifully.  The supervisors also taught how to clean the floor and things and keep them orderly.  The trainees were appointed to receive the merit of cooking, cleaning the rooms and restrooms as well.

In the afternoon, after they had meditated and listened to the sermon, they joined the group activities for the self-development such as preparing the Novice Ordination Ceremony and some creative games which gave them the good ideas – respect, harmony, teamwork, patient, etc.

In the evening, the trainees did the evening chanting, meditated, listened to the teaching monk’s sermon, and wrote their meditation progress, the good viewpoints from this training and their goodness and others’ goodness.  Before going to bed, they meditated and spreaded the loving-kindness by the way they had learned from the teaching monks.  Everybody was happy and peaceful in this training.

The trainees were like the Lord Buddha’s Dhamma successors so they should be the models of good people for the world.  They can do it by having the right living principles – Don’t do bad deeds. Do only good deeds. Keep your minds happy and clear. They can do it easily by giving, keeping the precepts well and meditating.  If they can do it completely, they will be the 200% ladies who are skillful and have good spirit, and will be rich of the good qualities.  During the training period, each trainee studied the Lord Buddha’s Dhamma intentionally and would bring the knowledge from this training to guide and improve their lives further.

Rejoice in your merit. Sadhu!
