 The ceremony of offering rice and dried food to monks in Takbai district

The Morning Alms Round to 2,000,000 monks nationwide Project and Dhammakaya Foundation by the Most Ven. Phrathepyanmahamuni (Dhammajayo Bhikkhu), the President of Dhammakaya Foundation and abbot of Dhammakaya Temple, he assigned the Kalayanamitra of Narathiwat to be the representatives to offer rice and dried food to monks in Narathiwat province.

The receiving ceremony was arranged at the Sermon Hall of Wat Sitthisarnpradit (Khokeyang) in Takbai district, Narathiwat province.  The Most Ven. Phrakru Piyawarakhun, the Ecclesiastical District Governor of Takbai district and abbot of Wat Sitthisarnpradit, was the monastic president and Mr. Aphichat Srisuwan, the assistant district officer of Takbai district, was the laypeople president.  Rice and dried food in this ceremony came from the Morning Alms Round to 2,000,000 monks nationwide Project.  This ceremony was arranged to encourage monks and novices who have been affected from the unrest events for many years so that they cannot do the religious duties as usual.

Rice and dried food offered to Wat Sitthisarnpradit (Wat Khokeyang), Wat Khokemamuang, Wat Kaosawat, Wat Thamaprang, Wat Saikhao, Wat Boonnaram (Khokengu), Wat Tharakorn (Bangnoi), Wat Kanthathikaram, Wat Peepphalitwan, the Ibuetae Monastic Institute, Wat Chalarasihe (Jaehe), the Pron Sub District Administration Organization, the Company Scout no. 4810, Wat Peepphalitwan, the Company Scout no. 2911, Wat Thamaprang, the Company Scout no. 2912, and Wat chon.
