On Saturday, August 22nd 2015, the Dhammakaya temple in Boston hosted a meditation event. The aim of the event was to spread kindness and compassion to the 9/11 victims and those affected by the tragedy.
Throughout its 45-year history, the Dhammakaya Temple has never wavered from its mission to create world peace through inner peace by promoting the Buddha’s method of meditation and teachings that have changed the world since 2558 years ago.
Wind back 45 years to 27th August 2512 B.E., in the ubosotha (chapel) of Wat Paknam Bhasichareon, and we see a great kalyanamitta who has resolutely decided to ordain and devote his entire life to Buddhism.
