องค์กรยุวพุทธสงฆ์โลก ก่อตั้งโดย พระอนุรุทธะเถระ เมื่อวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ.2547 ที่เมืองกาฐมานฑุ ประเทศเนปาล มีพระภิกษุสงฆ์ที่เป็นตัวแทนจากประเทศต่างๆ จัดกิจกรรมร่วมกันรวม 3นิกาย คือ นิกายเถรวาท มหายาน และวัชรยาน โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก คือ การสร้างเครือข่ายกลุ่มผู้นำขององค์กรยุวพุทธสงฆ์โลก เพื่อสร้างความสามัคคี เป็นหนึ่งเดียวกันในสถาบันสงฆ์และสังคมโลก โดยปราศจากการแบ่งแยกระหว่างนิกาย
พิธีสวดธรรมจักรและ 9 พระสูตร ณ วัดนาลันทา มุมไบ รวมถึงการถวายสังฆทานและอุทิศส่วนกุศลแก่พระมหาเถระโชติรัตนะ เสริมสร้างเส้นทางพุทธศาสนาในอินเดียและไทยอย่างสงบและศักดิ์สิทธิ์
