พระธรรมโกศาจารย์ ยืนยันไม่พบผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมชาวพุทธนานาชาติ เนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา ติดเชื้อไข้หวัดใหญ่สายพันธุ์ใหม่ 2009 แต่อย่างใด
ขณะนี้ ยอดผู้สมัครทะลักทะลวงไปกว่าครึ่งพันคนแล้ว นำโด่งเป็นอันดับหนึ่งของโลก โดยมาจากหลากหลายอาชีพ หลายอายุ ทั้งนักเรียน นักศึกษา ทั่วประเทศอินโดนีเซีย กว่า 99% เป็นชาวพื้นเมืองและนับถือพุทธศาสนา ในส่วนของเจ้าหน้าที่วัดพระธรรมกาย ทุกคนก็เริ่มท่องภาษาอินโดนีเซีย เพื่อเตรียมไปพูดหน้าห้องสอบ
