We have to hurry when it comes to accumulating merits, so that they will act as provisions for our next lives

Those people who are habitually pessimistic, angry, greedy, etc, always attract negative things to themselves
Generosity helps to dissolves our stinginess, or our unwillingness to help others
According to the Buddha, the practice of self-mortification [attakilamathanuyoga] is fruitless
Is grateful to those who have helped them in the past.

Sometimes it can be quiet hard to recognize a fool, as on the surface they may seem just like us, they seem okay, they have a crowd of friends, families and go to school or work
