Mobile Version12nd Inner Peace Meditation Retreat : LondonOn last July 10th-12th, 2015, Wat Phra Dhammakaya London organized a 3-day meditation retreat for locals, which was well participated by 17 local people. The retreat included meditation, Dhamma sermons, Dhamma talk and Q&A sessions about meditation.
The local people were very impressed in everything of this retreat, e.g. the food, the place, the staffs, the Dhamma sermons. Everybody felt relaxed from this ooportunity to purify their minds in this hearty place. They all perceived happiness from meditation which gave some good changes to their minds; i.e. they perceived more feelings of contentment, gentleness and mercy in themselves.
There was also a British actress who attended this meditation. Her name was Kayleigh. Kayleigh thanked us for having her at the retreat. Because she had such a wonderful time, she posted her picture on Facebook and told her friends all about our retreat. One of her ambitions was to be able to teach other people how to meditate.
Everybody went home with impression and said that they would come to the temple often to practice meditation and would also invite their family members and friends to the temple as well.
