Mrs. Udsanee added that Novice Thongchai used to recite Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta for the Most Ven. Phraphromcariyacarn, Ecclesiastical Southern Regional Governor and Abbot of Wat Kapangsurin, Royal Temple in Trang Province, and the Most Ven. Phrarajvorakorn, Ecclesiastical Provincial Governor of Trang Province.  After that Novice Thongchai recited Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta in front of the reporters.  It took time about 20 minutes.

The Novices were trained by Phra Narongdech Mahatejo, a teaching monk at Wat Kanchanaborirak

Novice Thongchai unveiled that he has been interested in any Buddhist chanting since he was 5 years old.  He used to be ordained as a novice once and he can recite the Seven Books of Abhidhamma thoroughly as well.  When he was 7 years old, Phra Narongdech Mahatejo from Wat Kanchanaborirak taught him to recite Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta until he can do it fluently without looking.  The recitation makes him have good concentration and memory so that he always gets the first place in his class.  He added that by the time this summer retreat is over, he will not disrobe.  When his school opens, he will go to school in saffron robes.  He wants to study more about Buddhism in the future.
The reporters informed that Novice Thongchai is 8 years old, has good-looking and a big head; he looks like a smart child who has good memory.  When the laity knew that the novice would not disrobe, they rejoiced in his merit.
