Phra Khru Sitthidhamvites, the abbot of Atammayatarama Buddhist Monastery ,kindly performing as the president of the monastic assembly, paid homage to the Triple Gem after that Phra Khru Bhavanavites, the abbot of Seattle Meditation Center gave an opening speech of the ceremony.
Phra Khru Sotthidhamvites, the abbot of Atammayatarama Buddhist Monastery, gave a speech and the monks from each Buddhist sect chanted to pay homage to the Triple Gem. Then the whole congregation practiced meditation.
Once the time came, Phra Khru Sotthidhamvites led everybody to recite Vesak Punnami Mantra. After that, the monastic assembly and laypeople lit Vesak lanterns altogether, and then took three rounds of circumambulation while recalling the favors of Lord Buddha. And at the end, they took historical group photos together.
Once the ceremony was concluded, laypeople, with delighted hearts, helped tidying up the ceremony filed. Everybody from Seattle Meditation Center would like to share these merits to all meritorious people around the world.
