Heisenberg Schule took a field trip at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Bavaria

Teachers and students from a secondary school in Landsberg took a field trip at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Bavaria, Germany.

Teachers and students of Heisenberg Schule in Landsberg am Lech took a field trip and studied Buddhism at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Bavaria during February 12th - 13th, 2014.  The students were grouped into two groups.  Each group was 125 students so the total students were 250.  Ms. Kantikan Hatsadecha and Ms. Barbara Enkel-Volkmann, volunteers of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Bavaria, were the lecturers.

The lecturers introduced the way of Thai people pay respect.  After that they told the history of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, the Great Masters, and the activities of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Bavaria.  Then, they opened a chance for the students to ask about Buddhism and the monastic daily life.  Later, Mr. Thomas Angst, special volunteer, told his meditation experience and his voluntary at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Bavaria, his impression and experience as a monk who participated in the first ordination in Europe at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Belgium.  Phrapalad  Atsadang Siripunyo kindly taught how to meditation.  He explained the mental movement along seven Bases of Mind to the local youths.  He also introduced the right meditation posture to them and they meditated together.

Finally, the teaching monks brought the visitors to light Magha lanterns to worship the Lord Buddha in the Buddhist style which impressed them very much.
