Phrasamutkavee (Chamlong, the 5th Pali Graduate), the Ecclesiastical Provincial Governor of Samut Songkhram province from Wat Klangnua in Bangkhonthee district, was the Monastic President. Mr. Thanon Vejkornkanon, the Samut Songkhram Provincial Governor, was the Laypeople President. The Most Ven. Phrathepsamutmoli, the consultant of the Ecclesiastical Provincial Governor of Samut Songkhram province, kindly participated in this ceremony.
The Morning Alms Round on the boat at Thakha Floating Market has got the Thai Cultural Reservation Award from the Ministry of Culture (Thailand) and has been set as the annual meritorious event for tourism in Samut Songkhram province as well.
Thakha Floating Market opens on weekends and holy days.
