Weekend Meditation // August 12-14, 2016 - Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma

Wat Phra Dhammakaya Gunma, Japan, arranged the Weekend Meditation for Locals during August 12 – 14, 2016 (3 days & 2 nights) where there were 8 meditation sessions.  There were 10 Japanese that participated in this retreat.  The teaching monks were Ven Phra Maha Dr. Chattapong Katapunyo and Ven Somkiat Punyatejo.

The participants took part in many activities together which included Morning Chanting, exercising, offering breakfast, enjoying Thai food, practicing meditation, listening to sermon and chanting Dhammacakkapavattana Sutta verse.

Each participant had good meditation experiences.  They sat comfortably, were able to still their minds and got inner peace from the meditation.  All of them understood more about the principle of meditation and will continue to meditate at home.  They revealed that they intend to join the meditation classes at Thai Buddhist Meditation Center in Japan in the future.
